Diplazium esculentum - Perennial fern, used as an edible plant throughout Asia. Young fronds are boiled and then cooked in a variety of dishes. Vegetable Fern is also dried for later use. They are very high in nutrients. Medicinal uses also. Cold sensitive, I put mine in the greenhouse over winter and it survives my temperate winters well. Does well in hot weather provided it has shade.
