Potentilla erecta - A European native perennial herb with a very long recorded history of medicinal use.The roots were once used as a famine food and to make a tea. A red dye is made from the roots. A small plant, growing to about 30 cms high. Frost hardy. Pretty yellow flowers from summer to autumn. Easily grown in most soil types.
