Thymus longicaulis subsp. chaubardii - Hardy perennial. Full sun to part shade. 2 to 10 cms height. Requires a well drained soil. An excellent ground cover plant. Flowers pink mauve in colour, and produced prolifically, which are very attractive to bees. Flowers from spring to summer. Grows really well in pots also. Drought tolerant plant once established. Aromatic glossy green leaves. A low maintenances plant. An excellent culinary herb.
