Thymus serpyllum 'Bergamot' - Hardy perennial ground cover. 5-10cms height, 50-70cms width. Full sun. Growth ground hugging. Mauve flowers in the summer. Culinary herb, can be used fresh or dried. Requires a well drained soil. Frost hardy. Good plant for borders and between stepping stones. Remove spent flowers to encourage bushy new growth. Lovely citrus fragrance.
