Aster tataricus - A really beautiful Aster, that is also used throughout Asia traditionally as a culinary and medicinal plant. In Korea it’s leaves are used in a variety of traditional dishes, called Gaemichwi in Korean. The root has medicinal uses also. Tartarian Aster also has a long history of use in Chinese traditional medicine.
