Viola odorata - Pretty perennial plants, with beautiful violet coloured and scented flowers from winter through spring. Looks great in the garden. Leaves and flowers edible. The flowers look great on cakes as decorations. Prefers a moist soil in a part shade position. Frost hardy. Sweet violets have a long history of folk medicine use.
