Ipomoea batatas - A rare Japanese Sweet Potato variety with red skin and a creamy yellow flesh that darkens when cooked. Beni-masari is used in a variety of tasty Japanese dishes. Grow as you would any other Sweet Potato. I grow mine in full sun and give their beds a good feed once a year with well-rotted animal manure once a year and they grow really well. Water as needed. Price is for one growing plant. Please note that the tubers in the picture are only quite young and not fully developed yet. I just wanted to show the yellow colour of the flesh and the skin colour.
