Fragaria virginiana - A native wild North American strawberry variety. The fruits have that lovely sweet strawberry taste. The leaves and the roots are wild harvested to make medicinal teas. Virginia Strawberry also has other traditional medicinal uses. I have my plants growing in part shade and keep them watered when the weather is dry.
