Stevia rebaudiana - Herbaceous small perennial shrub.Full sun to part shade.65 cms height, 50 cms width.  Very sweet tasting leaves that have no calories. Leaves can be harvested as required and are used as a sugar substitute in the kitchen.  Will grow in most soil types. Frost sensitive plant.  An ancient herb, used by south Americans for centuries. They used stevia as a sweetener and as a medicinal herb. Prefers a fertile, well drained soil, with regular water. The leaves can be used to make a tea. Leaves can be used fresh or cooked, or dried for later use. Can be grown in large pots also.
