Mentha spicata var. crispa - A very attractive mint plant with frilly edged leaves and the familiar spearmint aroma. A great culinary herb, use raw or cooked, in sweet and savoury dishes. Also use in drinks and herbal teas. Best grown with morning sun and afternoon shade, and in moist soil. Curly Leaved Spearmint will grow well in pots. Mauve flowers in summer and autumn, which are very attractive to bees and butterflies.
