Campanula rapunculus - Herbaceous edible herb. 50 cms height by 30 cms width. Full sun to part shade, requiring afternoon shade in hot weather. Leaves and roots edible. The leaves are very rich in vitamin C. Rampion is also a medicinal plant. Pretty blue, sometimes white flowers. Looks beautiful in cottage gardens. An easy to grow plant, growing well in most well drained soil types.
