Rumex patientia - Hardy herbaceous perennial herb.100 cms height, 50 cms width. Full sun to part shade. An excellent leaf vegetable, with leaves being consumed raw or cooked. Produces good early greens in the spring. Consumed throughout Europe as a vegetable. Frost hardy. Patience dock is also used medicinally, internally and externally. A very easily grown herb, succeeding in most moderately fertile soils. Leaves can also be used as fodder for animals. Great greens for poultry, rabbits and grazing animals.
