Apium graveolens var.dulce - Hardy biennial vegetable. Full sun to part shade. A great cut and come again plant, providing a continuous supply of leaves for cooking. The stalks and leaves can be used. Leaves rich in vitamins and minerals. Productive in most fertile moist garden soils. Bright green curly foliage. This variety of celery looks similar to parsley but has the taste and aroma of celery. Much easier to cultivate then common celery. Long history of use in Europe and China. A great plant for gardeners with limited space, and will grow well in pots. Will grow in coastal gardens. Used as a medicinal plant by the ancient Greeks and Romans.
