Iris germanica - This form of Orris Root has a stunning dark purple flower. This is the original form of Iris germanica. This plant is a very old variety, grown by my family for at least 35 years, bought from one of those old fashioned herb sellers you would find when you would go for drives in the country many years ago. I just love the old varieties of plants.
