Origanum vulgare var. hirtum - This is the wild harvested variety from Greece. A strong oregano flavour, from hardy and robust plants. Also has excellent aroma. More flavoursome than common oregano. Use leaves fresh or dried, in raw or cooked dishes. A great plant to add to the kitchen garden.
