Allium fistulosum -  Perennial, cold hardy bunching onion variety. A delicious onion, eaten raw or cooked, with a mild, sweet flavour. Green tops can be harvested on a cut and come again basis. A traditional Japanese bunching onion variety and very popular there. Fast growing and quick to mature. Will grow well in a variety of climate areas. Can grow quite large, but still keeps good flavour
