Microseries lanceolata - A beautiful Australian native edible plant. Murnong plants produce several fleshy, edible roots, which can be consumed raw or cooked. The tubers are highly palatable. It also makes pretty yellow flowers from spring through to autumn. Grow in full sun to part shade. Fast growing, with growth commencing in winter here. Tolerates frost. Native and non native pollinators love the flowers. Provide well drained soil, roots can rot with to much water. Murnong plants are also enjoyed by grazing animals.
