Artemisia vulgaris - Herbaceous perennial herb. Full sun to part shade. 150cms height, 70 cms width. Medicinal and culinary herb. Used throughout Europe as a culinary plant. Flowering from summer to autumn. A good food plant for butterflies and moths. Dried leaves and flowering tops are used to make a tea. Frost hardy. Mugwort will grow in most well drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Sheep are said to enjoy eating this plant, and was long used to fatten of sheep.
