Artemisia princeps - Hardy aromatic perennial herb. Full sun to part shade. Native to China, Japan and Korea. Used in traditional medicine throughout Asia. Leaves and young seedlings edible, raw or cooked. Japanese mugwort is used in Japanese and Korean cookery. Drought tolerant once established. Will grow well in average, well drained garden soil. Spreads rapidly, and can be quite vigorous. Plant in an area where it has a lot of room to grow, or can be grown quite happily in a pot.
