Seseli gummiferum - An unusual perennial plant, native to the Aegean region. The plant is harvested for varied traditional uses and also an animal fodder. Large umbels of pink tinged white flowers, loved by bees and butterflies, held on long stems from summer through to autumn. Attractive silvery blue fern like foliage. Full sun to part shade in moist well drained soils. If you let this plant go to seed it is biennial, but if you deadhead flowers before going to seed it becomes perennial.
