Cryptotaenia japonica - Evergreen perennial herb and vegetable. 100cms height, 60 cms width. Full sun to part shade. A great cut and come again vegetable, with the flavour a mix between parsley and celery. Leaves, stem and root all edible. The seeds can also be used as a seasoning. Aromatic foliage. Grows well in pots. Frost hardy. Will grow in most moist soil types. Mitsuba is also used medicinally.
