Mentha australis - A lovely Australian native mint. Medicinal and edible , use a you would common mint. Likes moist to wet soil. I grow mine in shallow water and they are very happy. Full sun to part shade, if in full sun provide adequate moisture. Mauve flowers from summer through autumn, attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. Frost hardy.
