Mentha spicata var. Crispa 'Moroccan' - Hardy herbaceous perennial. 45-60 cms height. Full sun to part shade, but prefers some shade. Bright green leaves, with a delicious sweet minty aroma. Lavender flowers in the summer. Excellent culinary mint. It is the mint used to make Moroccan tea. Grows in most soil types, and prefers to be kept moist. A good companion plant for capsicums and tomatoes. Attracts bees and other beneficial pollinating insects, also a good nectar source. Best grown in pots.
