Mentha x piperita f.citrata - A hardy herbaceous perennial herb. Lime mint has a delicious lime scent and flavour. Fragrant flowers provide a good nectar source for bees, butterflies and beneficial insects. Full sun to part shade, but best in spots with some shade in hot summer areas. Will grow in most moist soil types. An excellent culinary herb, leaves can be used fresh or dried. Also use leaves to make a refreshing herbal tea. Lime mint also has medicinal value. 40 cms height by 100 cms width. Will grow very well in pots.
