Mentha haplocalyx - Hardy herbaceous perennial herb. Full sun to part shade. 50 cms height. Chinese native plant, used in Chinese traditional medicine. Pretty pale lilac flowers produced in whorls in the summer. Prefers moist, fertile soil, in a cool spot, but will grow well in most moist soil types. Leaves used fresh or dried to make a tea. A very aromatic medicinal plant. Will grow well in pots.
