Prasium majus - Attractive perennial shrub to about 1 metre height. An edible and medicinal Mediterranean native plant. The tender leaves are wild harvested for use in a variety of traditional dishes. A great looking shrub also with pretty white flowers in spring and autumn. Mediterranean Prasium does die back here in the height of summer, but comes back during autumn. It is evergreen in milder summer climates. Prefers afternoon shade.
