Filipendula ulmaria flore pleno - A beautiful hardy, herbaceous perennial herb.60 cms height, by 50 cms width. Creamy white flowers held above lush green, fern like foliage. The flowers are very attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinating insects and are produced in Spring and Summer. Prefers a moist fertile soil. Double Meadowsweet prefers a position with morning sun to afternoon shade. Will grow in wet, bog garden locations also. Our goats and sheep love nibbling on this herb, its a great tonic plant for them.
