Pulmonaria officinalis - Herbaceous perennial herb. 30 cms height by 30 30cms width. A frost tolerant and very cold hardy plant. Lungwort prefers full to part shade. Will grow in most soil types. Leaves are edible. Also a medicinal plant, with a long history of use. The flowers of this plant are a good nectar source for bees. A member of the Borage family. Leaves are green with white or pale green spots on them, flowers start pink and turn blue.
