Allium ampeloprasum - Hardy, perennial vegetable. Full sun to part shade. A very productive plant, harvest most of the year round. They may go dormant in really hot summer weather, but will re-grow as weather cools. Frost hardy and easy to grow. Established plants produce new plants.  A fast growing plant that self multiplies freely. Prefers a rich. well drained soil.
