Allium ampeloprasum - A Mediterranean perennial, native leek. Grows wild and is still wild harvested there in some regions. Hardy, provided that you do not over water when it is dormant throughout the summer. Produces really beautiful flowers, which can be a little variable. Does not reproduce as quickly as modern improved varieties, but for me this is why I like it so much, as it is really a wild natural plant. Limited numbers. Price is per bulb/plant.
