Allium ampeloprasum - A short lived perennial leek from Afghanistan, used there in a number of traditional delicious dishes. Gandana Leeks have a different taste to common leeks. The plants will grow into clumps, and leaves are harvested as a cut and come again vegetable, similar to chives. Cut leaves at the base and they will re grow from the base. I am selling these per pot, each pot contains 3-4 plants.
