Arum italicum - An Arum native to Southern Europe. Another with a long recorderd history. Glossy green leaves with white veins first appear from late autumn to early winter, after summer dormancy. A spreading vigorous grower, good in pots if you want to contain it. Frost hardy and will happily grow in full to part shade in most soils. NB- through my research I have found many and varied uses for Ariods.
