Hyssopus officinalis - Aromatic perennial herb. Pretty blue flowers from summer through autumn. The flowers being very attractive to bees and butterflies. Beekeepers like this plant as a rich and aromatic honey is produced from it. Hyssop can also be rubbed in new bee hives to attract bees to move in. Well drained soil, in full sun to part shade. An ancient herb, with a long history of use and cultivation. Looks great in pots.
