Marrubium vulgare - Herbaceous perennial.  45 cms height, 50 cms width. Grey green woolly leaves.  White flowers held in clusters. Medicinal herb. Used medicinally since ancient times. It was especially esteemed by the ancient Egyptians and Romans. A hardy plant and easy to grow. Frost hardy. Grows in most well drained soil types and will even grow well in poor soils. A tea is made from the fresh or dried leaves. The growing plant is said to repel flies. A good companion plant for tomatoes. A good bee plant.
