Aegopodium podagraria variegatum - Spreading ground perennial ground cover. 50-80 cms height. Part to full shade. Attractive cream and green foliage. Looks really good in pots also. A very easily grown plant. May become invasive, so plant it in an area where it has room to spread. Variegated ground Elder does grow very well in areas where other plants struggle to grow, so good for that difficult to fill spot in the garden. Foliage produces a good dense weed proof ground cover, making it a good low maintenance plant. Grows in most soil types. White flowers, similar in look to elder flowers. The non variegated form of this plant has a long history of culinary and medicinal use
