Arisarum vulgare - A hardy Arum with a long recorded history. Perennial spreading plant, may be best grown in a pot. Full to part shade in most moist well drained soils. Summer dormant, leaves appear late autumn/ early winter, followed by flowers. NB- through my research I have found many and varied uses for Ariods.
