Forsythia suspensa - A hardy, deciduous perennial shrub. A highly considered medicinal herb in Asia. It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in Chinese traditional medicine. An attractive weeping habit, bearing beautiful yellow flowers on its bare branches in late winter into spring. Will grow in most well drained soils, full sun to shade, and is frost tolerant.
