Sambucus ‘Chocolate Marzipan’ - A really striking Elderberry. I originally bought it from a plant fair and it came with a tag that just said Marzipan, but when I did the research I happily discovered it’s proper name and how beautiful it really could be once it had grown, Leaves age to a lovely chocolate colour and the flowers have the scent of almonds. The chocolate colour of the leaves is best with sun. NB the plants I have growing here are in part shade, so if you order the plant the leaves will be quite green, but the plant is correct.
