Primula veris - A beautiful old fashioned perennial medicinal and edible herb. 30 cms height by 30 cms width. Pretty yellow fragrant flowers held on stems in clusters above the foliage, in late Winter and Spring. Used in Spanish and English traditional dishes. Cowslip has a long history of medicinal use, being mentioned by Pliny the Elder and used by the ancient Druids. Best grown in part shade in our climate and with moist soil.
