Symphytum x uplandicum - A productive, hardy, perennial herb. The high leaf production has many uses including medicinal, instant compost mulch for crops, excellent compost additive, liquid feed for plants, medicinal and ornamental uses. Comfrey is also used to feed to animals, my pig loves it and its very good for her. Full sun to part shade, but does best in moist soil. Russian Comfrey is a naturally occurring hybrid.
