Trifolium pratense - Perennial. 20-60 cms height. Full sun to part shade. Dark pink flowers. Medicinal herb for both humans and animals. Also an excellent feed for animals. Makes a great forage plant. Good companion plant for lucerne and oats. Winter hardy plant. Improves soil by fixing nitrogen which leads to increased soil fertility. A good green manure plant. Also competes well with weeds. Used to make a tea. Also used medicinally, especially in traditional Indian medicine.
