Cichorium intybus - Hardy perennial vegetable and medicinal plant. Bothe leaves and roots can be consumed. Leaves can be eaten raw or cooked. Harvest as a cut and come again, for continuous supply of leaves. Plant is good deep loose soil to give the roots room to grow. Excess leaves are good for animals also.
