Teucrium marum subsp. marum - A lovely subspecies of common cat thyme, found growing wild in a number of southern Mediterranean countries. The leaves are small, greyish green and aromatic. Then in spring and summer the plant is covered in purple flowers, that are really bright and eye catching.
