Teucrium marum - Evergreen hardy perennial. 30 cms height, 45 cms width. Full sun.  Mauve pink fragrant  flowers in summer and autumn. Not a thyme, but a close relative of the germander. Lovely grey-green aromatic  leaves. Cats will roll around in and on the plant, the smell of it makes them high. They can find it irresistable. Does well in hot dry positions. Not frost tender. Grows in most well drained  soil types. Tolerates strong winds. Doesn't like excessive amounts of water, but water well in hot weather.
