Capsicum annum var annum - A perennial capsicum, living 4-5 years. A very productive plant, bearing lots of fruit, which can be harvested as needed. Fruits start green and turn red, can be eaten at either stage. The fruits can be eaten raw or cooked. Not frost hardy, provide protection in cold winter areas. NB- These are sold as seedlings, and will need a warm spot to be grown in over winter
