Capsicum annum - A great, productive heirloom capsicum from Turkey. Traditional use in a variety of Turkish dishes. Mild sweet flavoured capsicum. A really productive plant, that starts fruiting early. Fruit 10-15 cms long, starts green then ripens from yellow to orange to deep red, and can be harvested at any stage. Well drained rich soil, I like to give mine a good feed during growth with well rotted animal manure. Uses include in cooking, dried and ground into paprika.
