Veronica beccabunga - Perennial groundcover for a moist to damp area. Pretty blue flowers produced en masse from Spring through Summer. A great old garden herb. Prefers part shade conditions. 40 cms height y 100 cms width. Grows in most damp soil types, and can grow in shallow water. Flowers attract butterflies and bees to the garden. Frost hardy. Leaves edible raw or cooked, and young shoots can e harvested in the spring and used as a vegetable. Brooklime is also a medicinal herb. Very medicinal plant for animals also, having excellent properties for them when grazed over.
