Bacopa monnieri - Perennial creeping medicinal herb. 30cms height, by 30 cms width. Full sun to part shade. Small white or pale pink flowers. Grows best in water, shallow to submerged. Used extensively as an aquarium plant. Will also grow in slightly brackish water. A great bog garden plant. Bacopa has a long history of use in traditional medicines. Being used both internally and externally. Leaves are also edible, can be used raw or cooked. Grows in most moist soil types. A low maintenance plant. Bacopa also looks good when grown in pots, but must be kept well watered.
