Eupatorium perfoliatum - A perennial North American native. Grows to 1.2 metres height, with a clump forming growth habit. Full sun to part shade, in most moist soil types and will grow in bog gardens. Used widely in traditional North American medicine. Very cold hardy. White clusters of flowers held above foliage in the summer and autumn. Flowers are loved by bees and especially butterflies.
