Commelina tuberosa - A perennial plant with edible tubers. Blue Spiderwort also makes beautiful ink blue flowers throughout summer and autumn. I love the colour of these flowers, they are a proper blue. Tubers are wild harvested in Mexico and cooked as food. A long lived plant that will grow to from a large clump.
